ON BROADWAY WHERE THE LEGENDS PERFORMED!

COME OUT TO THE SHOW OR WATCH LIVE ONLINE!

NASHVILLE, TN: The National Underground proudly presents the TRADITIONAL COUNTRY MUSIC SHOW with ROSS KEY at it's venue located on lower Broadway at 105 Broadway, Nashville, Tennessee, on Saturday, March 24, 2012 from Noon until 3:00pm. No cover. This is one of the best received shows on Broadway, promising traditional country music the way it used to be. Ross Key has performed several times in the past couple of months and always brings in a crowd. You don't want to miss this show with his guests, Vince Barrios, Phil Da'Void and Bill Curtis. The show is always live streamed online at www.whotune.com (no registration required to watch), and pulls in an audience from around the world. The show will also be live streamed from Key's musicians page on Facebook at Ross Key Country through the Ustream link.

Ross Key is a stickler about how country music should sound. While he has no problem with other variations, his heart and soul is firmly grasped into the way country music sounded decades ago. "There's a place for all music, however, when you say "country music" to me, it doesn't have a rock and roll sound to it. It's about drinking and cheating songs, love songs that reflect love that's good or bad. It's fiddles, banjos, and steel guitars. It's songs about real life. About good and bad feelings. Pain and happiness," Key stated. "While I can play almost any kind of music, I don't. My heart and soul are into traditional country."

Key's slogan for over three years now - since he re-embarked on his solo music career - says it all..."Resurrecting Music Row one country song at a time". His most requested and best received song is "Resurrect Music Row" which took him two years to complete.

"I had lyrics. I had the general melody, but it just wouldn't fall into place for me until last Spring when I walked along 16th Avenue (Music Row). Then, it all just fell into place," Key said.

Join Ross and his guests down on Broadway at The National Underground on Saturday, March 24. For more information on Ross Key visit www.rosskey.com.

Lynchburg artist to be featured on syndicated Country music program

Ross Key, an independent Country music artist from Lynchburg, VA, will be the "ICMA Hometown Sounds Talent of the Week" on an upcoming episode of the "Country Dreams" radio program.

"We chose Ross because of both his talent, as well as his love for his hometown and the people in it," says Alan Shephard, co-host of Country Dreams. He went on to say, "Our goal is to highlight the uniqueness of each hometown, and the talents each village holds."

Ross is a 6th generation grandson of Francis Scott Key, the author of our nation's national anthem, The Star Spangled Banner. According to Ross, he was exposed to many legends of country music as he grew up, as his uncle played in Mel Tillis' band. At 13, he taught himself to play the guitar by listening to Chet Atkins and Willie Nelson. He began teaching guitar professionally at age 15. Key eventually taught himself to play fiddle, banjo, dobro, mandolin, upright bass, keyboard/piano, and drums.

At 16, he traveled through Europe as a Boy Scouts music ambassador, earning a private audience with King Gustaf of Sweden, and entertaining other European dignitaries as well.

Upon his return home, Key was offered a regular musician's spot in a well-respected country band - Roy Campbell & the Nashville Sound - and opened for many country music legends, including Mel Tillis, Alabama, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Hank Williams Jr., and many more. Willie even invited him to sit-in with his band on stage after hearing Key perform "Under the Double Eagle" on his bus using Willie's guitar. You can find Ross Key on the web at http://www.rosskeycom.

The "Country Dreams" radio show is currently heard on various AM/FM and internet stations around the world. It can be found on the web at www.countrydreamsradio.com. The Independent Country Music Association (ICMA) exists to promote indie Country singers and songwriters from across the globe. It is located at http://www.icmanet.com.
