MUSIC CITY WELCOMES LYNCHBURG'S NATIVE SON
Ross Key Country Set To Storm Nashville

LYNCHBURG, VA, January 10, 2011: Ross Key - Ross Key Country - will showcase his music throughout the month of April in grand fashion while in Nashville, TN. With performances at prestigious venues such as The Listening Room Cafe, The Bluebird Cafe, and the historic Tootsie's Orchid Lounge, Key is making his debut in Nashville a memorable one. He will be attending the Tin Pan South festival, a four day fundraising event for songwriters sponsored by the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI). Key will also be taking an active role in the Ramp Bash festival on March 31, 2011 which is sponsored by SongRamp, a group of professional singer/songwriters and musicians based in Nashville.

Currently, his hit single, Saturday Night, is number one on the local country music chart at ReverbNation.com and has held that position since early January 2010. It has held a Top 10 position on this chart since August 2009. Within the last week, Key has held the number three position on ReverbNation's hottest country artists. ReverbNation is gleaned by music executives, A&Rs, record labels, and talent scouts who have contacted him within the past two years.

Key is no stranger to the professional music industry. He's sold through ASCAP and is now affiliated with BMI in Nashville. Key embarked on his professional career at the age of 16, performing with Roy Campbell and the Nashville Sound. He later moved into the professional bluegrass circuit with Lower 40 Grass, and then traveled with the Vessels of God professionally, performing gospel music. He's performed on stage with Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris, Waylon Jennings, and Hank Williams, Jr., and fronted for Alabama, Ronnie Milsap, Jimmy Buffet, Freddy Fender and many more.

Key ended his "Resurrecting Music Row 2010" tour last October to a crowd of approximately 6,000 people in Buena Vista, VA at the city's annual Mountain Day Festival. Andy Wolfe, one of the organizers of the festival, stated to Key during a break, "You're gathering quite a fan club out there." Key remarked, "This is what my 2010 tour is all about. Letting Nashville know that traditional country music still has fans that want to hear and buy those 'lying and drinking' songs."
